《东方之爱》是一部“爱情”为主线的歌舞作品，通过一对年轻情侣的寻爱之旅，将各国的风情舞蹈串连一体，不仅以当下的视角让各国舞蹈焕发出新意，更以独特的方式诠释了“爱”这一人类永恒的主题。
oriental love is a song and dance show with“love” as its theme. dances of difference countries are connected through the trip of searching for love by a young couple, not only presenting the foreign dances in a modern and creative way but also interpreting“love”, an everlasting topic for human beings, in a unique way.
剧中主人公东东和方方是两个即将喜结连理的年轻人，他们生活在日新月异的北京，对未来的生活充满美好的向往和探索的好奇，方方突发奇想要到世界各地感受做新娘的新奇体验，东东则展开了对方方的一路追寻，一次穿越世界的梦幻爱情之旅就此开始……东东跟随着方方的脚步，走进了古老而神秘的印度爱庙、感受了非洲大草原面包树下的热闹景象、聆听了安格隆清脆的旋律、看见了尼罗河畔金沙翻涌炫目的光芒……二人在分离、追寻、相聚中重新领悟爱的意义，感受到世界的奇妙和祖国山河的壮美，最终举办了一场隆重而幸福的中式婚礼。
the two leading characters, dongdong and fangfang, are two people in love who are going to be married. living in beijing, a city always in change, they are always longing for better and unknown life. one day, fangfang wanted to know how it felt to be a bride in other countries and she embarked on her new journey. therefore, dongdong began his trip of searching for his love around the world. they have been to ancient mysterious indian temple, taken part in the bustling activities under the breadfruit tree in africa, listened to the melody of angklung, witnessed dazzling sands of nile…after all these departure, searching and reunion, they not only experienced the exciting scenery of our country and the world but also knew what love was. in the end of the trip, they held a happy chinese wedding ceremony. during the100 minutes, audience will enjoy a dozen of unique performances, which represents the best of music and dance art from10 countries around the world.
全剧始终紧扣“爱”的主题，将互联网+的时代理念与传统的舞台表演艺术深度融合，剧中大量采用了手机、二维码等年轻人熟悉的高科技元素，主人公梦幻般的世界穿越全部由扫描二维码这一便捷的动作实现，凸显信息时代瞬息万变的同时，也将激发现场观众强烈的参与和互动感。
developing closely around the theme“love”, the show combines“internet+” with traditional stage performing arts,adopting high-tech elements like cell phone qr code that are familiar with young people. the dreamy world trip is realized through a simple code scanning, demonstrating the convenience of information age as well as strong interaction with the audience. with a tactful arrangement by the creative team, the faithful love between the young couple interacts with the constantly changing scenes. with a happy ending in traditional chinese wedding ceremony, the audience can feel the romance and familiar wedding atmosphere after the searching trip, being impressed by the precious true love.

国家一级编导何利山总导演，邀请中国艺术研究院舞蹈研究所副所长江东研究员撰稿，《东方之爱》在创编团队上凝聚了东方歌舞团的核心力量，由135人组成的超强阵容倾力打造。在制作方面，曾担任过2008年北京奥运会开闭幕式灯光总设计的国家一级舞美灯光设计沙晓岚、新锐舞美设计杨睿将联手为观众营造一个奇幻炫目的舞台空间；著名音乐人梁剑峰、孟可联袂担纲音乐总监，孟可为男女主人公东东和方方全新创作的《等等我的爱》和《离开更觉你的好》两首主题歌青春感十足而朗朗上口，堪称真情流露。剧中东东和方方由集团青年演员谢素豪和庄惠芷出演。
oriental love is produced by the most distinguished creative team in china, including national first-level choreographer mr. he lishan, vice director of dance research institute in chinese national academy of arts mr. jiang dong as the writer, and the most excellent135 singers and dancers in oriental song and dance troupe. the dazzling stage is designed by sha xiaolan, national first-level lighting designer as well as the chief designer for the opening and closing ceremony of2008 olympic games, and yang rui, a rising stage designer. the music is created by famous musician liang jianfeng and meng ke. two famous songs in this show—waiting for my love and feeling a better you when apart—are young and dynamic which are well received among young people. the two leading characters dongdong and fangfang are performed by xie suhao and zhuang huizhi of our troupe.
